I’m really delighted to share IMPOWER’s second Annual Impact Report, looking back over the financial year 2023-24. This has been another fantastic year of impact achieved by our clients, enabled through our support. I’m incredibly proud of the IMPOWER team’s efforts, continuing to demonstrate that better outcomes can, and should, cost less.
Key highlights from the year include:
- We positively impacted over 30,000 lives
- enabling people to safely return home from hospital more quickly
- enabling children and young people to receive their education in a mainstream rather than specialist setting
- helping young people to live in a family home rather than a residential setting
- We identified and delivered millions of pounds of savings to the sector
- And 100% of our clients recommend us!

client’s purpose, and be credible
with front line staff).

Adding together cost benefits for each value proposition, we have identified
and delivered millions of pounds in savings to the sector this year.
• Over £10m in annualised direct cost reductions were delivered this year to Children’s Social Care systems across the country.
• We identified and evidenced an average of more than £8m in each adult social care transformation programme we have managed.
• On one programme alone, we identified & validated £30m of savings across
one council’s whole range of services and are now delivering against it

For us, improving public services is about improving the lives of citizens, over
2023/24 we have had a positive impact on the lives of over 30,000 people.
