SENIOR CONSULTANTS

iMPOWER is expanding and looking for enthusiastic, intellectually curious, motivated team players to join us as Senior Consultants.

As the building blocks of iMPOWER’s team, our Senior Consultants are primarily responsible for supporting the structuring and delivery of consulting projects ensuring high-quality specific solutions are provided to meet individual client requirements.

Candidates will have some understanding of the challenges and opportunities in local government and healthcare. They might have previous consulting experience, or they might presently work in the public sector. They will be naturally curious about what drives behaviours and interested in solving complex problems by using data analysis, good judgement and an ability to see beyond day-to-day pressures.

Skills & experience

·        Recent experience and knowledge of the UK’s public services

·        Either professional consulting experience or experience of working in local government or healthcare

·        Ability to work as a team with clients and colleagues

·        Strong analytical capability

·        Attention to detail

·        Excellent oral and written presentation skills

·        Word, Excel and PowerPoint familiarity

·        Graduate with minimum 2:1, or equivalent work experience

·        Alignment with iMPOWER’s values, including collaboration, ambition and respect

INSIGHT ANALYST

iMPOWER has launched a new Insight Function to capture, share and develop our insights so we can create an understanding of the complex problems facing public services, the most effective solutions and what we do to successfully embed and optimise their impact.

Location: London Head Office

Overview

This new Insight Analyst role sits within the Insight Function and will help to position iMPOWER as a leading consultancy for thought leadership in public services by identifying, developing, articulating and sharing the company’s insights while also tracking external trends and policy debates.

The ideal candidate will:

  • have some understanding of the challenges and opportunities in local government and the wider health & care sector
  • be naturally curious about what drives behaviours
  • be interested in solving complex problems by using data analysis to provide new insights
  • be pragmatic, enjoy using their initiative, and have a passion for making a difference

As this is a new position, within a new function, we are keen for the successful candidate to play an active part in developing the role and we are willing to flex the role in line with their unique skills and ambitions.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
