IMPOWER’s Heroes of 2019: 4 December

Since July 2018 Sally has worked with her colleagues and the IMPOWER team to develop and implement Valuing Care in Norfolk. Valuing Care is an approach to improving the life chances of children in care which strengthens the links between children’s needs, the outcomes being pursued and the resources available. Sally has acted as a ‘Practice Champion’ and has gone above and beyond in supporting and driving forward Valuing Care in Norfolk, and in contributing to the development of the overall Valuing Care approach and national programme. Sally’s energy, enthusiasm and passion for improving life chances for children have been a constant feature of our work with her – which us why she is one of IMPOWER’s Heroes of 2019.
