Alternative advent calendar: 4 December

Our advent calendar celebrates a dozen people or teams who have inspired us this year.

Jeremy Cooper, our Director of adult social care, writes:

“We’ve worked with Alison for two years, transforming adult social care in Hull. In April this year we handed over responsibility for implementation for the work, and now only provide light touch support. Alison was great to work with throughout, and has noticeably stepped up to take on and drive the programme. She is one of the most energetic people I have ever worked with, which is great because it is infectious! Despite some tough times, her passion and energy have never been snuffed out. That is so important in this sector, and I wish there were more people like her.”
