Alternative advent calendar: 1 December

Our advent calendar celebrates a dozen people or teams who have inspired us this year.

We are proud to kick off the calendar with Ben. Ben is one of many care leavers who could easily feel that they owe society very little, but who are actually working hard to change the system – so that those coming after them can have a better experience. During September and October, Ben walked 300 miles from Halifax to London to raise awareness for the ‘Every Child Leaving Care Matters Campaign’.
