Laura Welsh

Laura joined IMPOWER in June 2021 following 20 years of experience in People Management/HR working in professional services, shipping and tourism, national policing and local government. Laura holds an MA in Human Resource Management and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), following her first degree in foreign languages.

Laura is excited to work with driven people who are making real impact on our public services and ensuring sustainable changes; this is why she chose IMPOWER for her next step. Driving the development and growth of the business – to become the best possible employer, supporting our mission to create better outcomes for service users and patients – is what gets her out of bed in the morning.

Laura lives near the Essex coast with her family and many pets, and loves to sing whenever she gets a chance!
