IMPOWER’s Heroes of 2020: 8 December

Find out who has inspired me this year….

As part of IMPOWER’s Heroes of 2020, we would like to celebrate the huge achievements of the East Riding of Yorkshire Council Change Champions; Annette MacDonald, Florence Johnson, Hayley Brown, Michelle Richardson and Nicole Fowler.

In addition to their frontline social care roles, the five Change Champions have been working tirelessly to support the change programme since September. The group has been involved in a variety of key areas including; delivering training, facilitating reflective huddles and providing support to peers across adult social care and business management and commissioning.

The value and support they have given to their peers has been instrumental particularly in such challenging times, with the impact of their support being recognised across the council’s Senior Leadership Team and the IMPOWER team.

A special mention also to Aimee Harper, who has provided vital support and organised developmental opportunities for the group!
