We work with councils to set up and manage more valuable relationships with major third party suppliers, ensuring better outcomes, flexibility and value for money are delivered through contracts.
Engagement with the private sector and other partners will increase, whether through arrangements to deliver major transformation programmes, or to transfer service delivery responsibility. Our view is that many major outsourcing contracts between councils and the private sector are not as effective as they might be, and are too focussed at inputs rather than outcomes. Often they either fail at the design stage, procurement stage or the ultimate contract does not deliver what either party had hoped for. By working with councils to define the scope of what they are looking for, helping them procure better contracts and finally helping manage these contracts we are able to deliver substantial service improvements and efficiencies.
