Department for Children, Schools and Families: Individual Budgets Pilots for Disabled Children and Families

The Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) has launched a two year pilot scheme to test the effectiveness of Individual Budgets for disabled children and their families. This case study is written as the pilot programme reaches the end of its first year.

iMPOWER, as part of a consortium with SQW Consulting and Helen Sanderson Associates, has undertaken a ‘support and challenge’ role as part of the pilots.
