Giles Piercy, director

Giles has worked for suppliers to the local government market for the past 18 years.  He has been at iMPOWER for over seven years, where he has helped grow the business into one of the key suppliers of consultancy services to the local government market.  Giles has a wealth of experience in large scale customer services, efficiency and transformation projects across local government.  Giles is a passionate believer in the opportunities for local government and local democracy to transform society.

Giles has also led iMPOWER’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme winning national recognition for work with charities such as Kidscape and Community Links.  Giles also sits on the board of “Heart of the City” a charity, funded by the City of London, which is focussed on supporting companies in London with their CSR programmes.

Outside of work, Giles and his wife Camilla, a psychotherapist, have two young children: Matthew (10) and Amber (8).  He plays a lot of tennis, runs occasionally along the Thames, reads a lot of books, fails to grow vegetables on an allotment and tries to find more time to see friends.
