Samantha Ankrah, consultant

Samantha is a consultant at iMPOWER and brings 6 years’ experience of working in the public sector – from the Home Office, Probation Service and National Health Service.

Samantha is an Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist and an Accredited Security Management Specialist and specialises in the area of integrated working in children’s services.  During her career, Samantha has worked for central government and the third sector in both salaried and voluntary capacities.

Specific projects that Samantha has delivered include:

• Piloting social work practices with the Department for Children, Schools and Families
• Implementing an integrated children’s system at St. Helens Metropolitan Borough Council
• Taking St. Helens Metropolitan Borough Council and City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council through the Investigation Stage of the personalisation of adult social care.

In her spare time, Samantha likes to cycle, write fiction pieces, participating in kickboxing training, and travelling to various international cities to take part in carnivals.
