Caroline Harrop, consultant

image Caroline is a consultant at iMPOWER and has previously worked in a number of local authorities in a variety of roles. Caroline was part of the acclaimed National Graduate Development Programme for local government and successfully completed a postgraduate diploma in Local Government Management at Warwick Business School. Academically, Caroline has focussed on the role of public consultation in local decision-making and also the impact of organisational culture within local authorities.

Some of the projects Caroline has worked on include:

Developing a new service design approach for Dorset County Council to enable services to be built around customer needs
Leading BPR workshops at East Herts Council with a view to passing services to a newly established contact centre
Carrying out a review of voice and data networks at the London Borough of Lewisham and investigating the potential benefits of moving to a voice over IP system

Outside of work Caroline enjoys walking in the Peak District, camping and running. At the moment most of her spare time is taken up with planning her wedding, which will take place in April 2008.
